This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive administrative assistant with a passion for enhancing the employee journey. You will be joining the Staff Engagement and Experience Team a collaborative and people-focused service that supports a range of key programmes across NHS Lothian designed to support, inform, and empower our workforce.
This role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to contribute to several high-impact workstreams within Corporate Education. From supporting the delivery of training and education programmes to helping co-ordinate staff events and managing internal communications, the Administrative Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring projects run efficiently and our staff feel informed, equipped, and valued.
You will bring proven administrative experience, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine interest in people. You’ll be a confident communicator who thrives on being helpful, reliable, and solution-focused whether that’s through managing team inboxes, preparing documents and reports, supporting event logistics, or liaising with colleagues and services across the organisation.
This post will suit someone who enjoys a dynamic, fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service. You will need to be able to prioritise workload independently while also working as part of a busy and supportive team.
