We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Project Assistant to join the Digital Intervention Team for Psychology, Royal Edinburgh and Associated Services (REAS).

In this varied and rewarding role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality administration for our online digital therapy programmes and supporting the Psychological Therapies Groups service. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient access to effective, innovative mental health support.

What You’ll Do

As Project Assistant, you will provide essential administrative and technical support for the Digital Interventions team and Psychological Therapies (PT) Groups Service. Your responsibilities will include:

Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries

Maintaining all databases and systems

Referring and discharging patients via TRAK

Providing admin and technical assistance to patients accessing digital therapy programmes

Providing admin support to the PT Groups Services

Supporting the Project Manager to deliver key service objectives

Qualifications And Skills

SVQ3 / HNC (or equivalent) in Business Administration or a relevant subject

Experience in handling confidential communications and sensitive information, along with strong organisational and prioritisation skills in high-demand office settings, is essential.

Previous experience with NHS systems such as TRAKcare and other relevant digital platforms is desirable.

Strong oral and written communication skills, a self-motivated and proactive approach, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & Outlook) is required.

Candidates should also have experience working within a busy administrative environment, demonstrate a polite and courteous manner, and adopt a methodical, organise approach to tasks.

Primary base: Western General Hospital

Additional rotation: One day per week at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital
