Account Administrator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records. The position requires a good understanding of accounting processes, general admin, and excellent organisational skills.

Account Administrator Duties

Monthly reconciliations of client accounts (using Excel and Blockman, a specific property management software

Providing reconciled reports to clients

Reconciliation of business VAT returns

Raising service charge, ground rent and recharge invoices

Preparing service charge account statements

Client debt chasing re service charges and ground rent accounts

Issuing Parking Permits and invoicing

Uploading financial information in respect new developments

Annually entering budget provisions/service charge apportionments and information in conjunction with clients financial periods

Handling of utility accounts for clients

Handling of lift line accounts

Managing Compliance Reminder spreadsheet

Arranging half yearly lift inspections

Operating Drop Box account for clients to access information

Responsible for general accounting queries

General admin, including downloading Land Registry documents

Back up support re phones, mail merges, and issuing of Works Orders

Account Administrator Requirements

Proficiency in accounting, with experience in Xero being desirable

Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping

Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a busy, reactive environment

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Previous experience in an administrative or accounting role is preferred
