We currently have two (2) immediate vacancies for the role of Account Assistant, specializing in two critical functions: Accounts Payable (AP) and Procurement & Inventory.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Account Assistant located in WP. Kuala Lumpur (nearby LRT/MRT Titiwangsa). The Account Assistant will be responsible for credit control, managing daily finance operations, assisting in financial tasks, and maintaining accounting records. The role involves preparing financial reports, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the finance team in routine operations. Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders is a key aspect of this role.
1) Account Assistant (Accounts Payable)
You will be the backbone of our payment operations, ensuring all vendors and partners are managed with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of AP processing, including matching invoices with POs and Goods Received Notes (GRN).
- Input accurate invoice details into the AutoCount accounting system.
- Prepare payment batches and ensure all disbursements are authorized and policy-compliant.
- Perform vendor statement reconciliations and manage petty cash disbursements.
2) Account Assistant (Procurement & Inventory)
You will safeguard our clinical supply chain, ensuring our Dialysis and Cardiac centers are always fully equipped.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Administration: Raise and manage Purchase Orders (PO) for medical and disposable supplies across multiple centers.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records for high-value medical supplies and pharmaceuticals.
- Stock Movement: Track receipts, internal transfers between centers, and issues to end-users.
- Audit & Valuation: Participate in periodic stock counts and maintain accurate standard or weighted average costs.
Qualifications
- Academic: Professional Certificate/Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–3 years in an accounting or finance support role. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites (especially Excel) is essential.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a team-player attitude.
- Proficiency in Finance and Accounting, including basic understanding of financial principles and reporting.
- Strong Communication skills to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and collaborate in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment.
- Experience in non-profit or healthcare settings is an advantage but not mandatory.
