About The Role

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Finance team based in our Penrose head office. This is a busy role where you’ll help keep supplier payments flowing smoothly, resolve invoice queries, and support the day-to-day operation of a large accounts payable function. If you enjoy working with numbers, problem-solving, and finding ways to improve processes, you’ll feel right at home.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Verify and process invoices for payment in our JD Edwards software accurately and on time.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams where necessary.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and support payment run preparation.
  • Maintaining accurate and organised records.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Assisting with month-end closing activities and supporting wider finance team.

About You

  • A qualification in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field would be advantageous.
  • At least two years’ experience in a dedicated Accounts Payable role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Confident using Excel and other business systems, with JDE experience an advantage.
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A collaborative approach and clear communication skills when working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Full working rights for New Zealand and ability to satisfy pre-employment checks including medical, MOJ and ACC.
