THIS IS 100% ONSITE POSITION

Position Summary:

Under the direction of the Health Insurance Access Program Director and Associate Director, provide administrative and clerical support.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attend all trainings required by the Local Departments of Social Services, and New York State Department of Health, to acquire, improve, and maintain relevant knowledge and skills.

• Attend additional trainings specific to the Aged, Blind and Disabled population.

• Provide general support to visitors.

• Answer and direct telephone calls.

• Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.

• Organize and schedule meetings while maintaining detailed minutes.

• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.

• Contact Local Departments of Social Services, as needed.

• Provide referrals to other agencies, if applicable.

• Report all issues and concerns to Director and/or Assistant Director for resolution.

• Develop and maintain a filing system.

• Maintain contact lists.

• Maintain ethical standards including but not limited to HIPAA.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Ability to handle confidential information in an ethical, professional manner.

2. Ability to provide exceptional customer service to all clients.

3. Must be a

collaborative team

-player willing to provide assistance and perform various tasks as needed.

4. Bilingual English/Spanish
