Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant (Part-Time Contractor) to join our remote team at a growing Financial Apps start-up. This role offers a flexible work schedule and promotes work-life balance.
What You’ll Do
Administer payroll processing for W2 employees via TriNet and 1099 contractors via ADP, ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Monitor and process invoices for payment through wire/ACH transfers. Communicate and obtain approval before processing. Only the COS/COO and the CEO’s Executive Assistant have access to the company credit card.
Monitor all incoming emails and ensure they are directed to the appropriate person or department for prompt response.
Serve as the main point of contact for our accountant/tax advisor, redirecting queries as appropriate.
Serve as the primary liaison for our legal team, ensuring inquiries are forwarded to the right stakeholders.
Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors.
Undertake any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the COS/COO.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in any field.
1–2 years of experience in an administrative or office management role.
Banking experience is a plus
Advanced experience with Excel and QuickBooks
Comfortable working with accountants and consultants
