Position Summary

This position will provide support for several CIDD functions. The administrative support specialist will provide financial support for CIDD’s external contracts, supplies and reimbursement. The position will provide secondary reception desk coverage for 2 days a week, including answering phones, greeting visitors, mail and patient check-in using EPIC. Other clinic-related duties will be creating patient charts, filing patient information, handling medical records requests and finalizing patient reports. Other duties will include project assistance (e.g., research data entry, making quality control calls), scheduling conference rooms and design assistance (e.g., creating/formatting reports, tables,, brochures and flyers).

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalency and one year of related office experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

Management Preferences

Prior experience working in a university setting is preferred. Experience using electronic finance application is preferred, especially ConnectCarolina, Infoporte and ePro. Training and skill sin graphic arts and experience with graphics arts software is preferred. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a workplace setting is preferred.
