About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join the operational team in Corio working from an industrial Facility. This contract position operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for a minimum of three months, offering a competitive rate of $38.75 per hour + Super.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the efficient functioning of the facility, supporting the reporting Manager in achieving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform administrative and computer duties related tasks to the internal Tracking System, including generating tracking numbers based on daily run sheet requirements and assigning tracking numbers to truck drivers.
– Follow administrative procedures as instructed and provide comprehensive administrative support, including maintaining and filing documentation.
– Foster effective working relationships with team members, ensuring that the manager is kept informed of ongoing issues.
– Attend and participate in team meetings as required and demonstrate the ability to work unsupervised while maintaining good communication skills.
– Comply with all site safety plans, work instructions, and risk assessments, ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.

Requirements:
– Prior experience working across an administrative role
– Personal attributes including integrity, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
– Strong focus on work output and quality, time management, attention to detail, customer-focused approach, and effective planning and organising skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with teamwork capabilities.
– Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills and an overall focus on safety in the workplace.
