This position focuses on ensuring smooth operations across various administrative functions, including supporting organise meeting and travel as required, managing workflows and communications. You will also assist with financial, HR, and administration tasks with organising meetings, while helping to maintain team organisation and efficiency.

The Supporting Volunteers business unit are excited to share an incredible opportunity for an Administration Officer to join the team on a temporary basis, through to 31 December 2025.
As part of the dynamic Supporting Volunteers business unit, you’ll play a central role with, providing essential administrative support including, human resource, finance reporting and other activities as required. You’ll engage with a diverse range of stakeholders, using your communication skills to connect, consult, and collaborate across the business unit, ensuring timely and relevant information flows seamlessly.

Role Focus
Manage general and financial administration systems, corporate management systems, office processes and Ministerial business systems and registers including:
file creation, maintenance, security, storage and retrieval requirements
recording of monthly statistics
resource booking procedures (where required)
purchasing activities
coordination and booking of travel (where required)
collate data and provide accurate input including quality assurance to the preparation of reports and correspondence
other duties including maintaining central email accounts and diary management (where required).
Undertake customer support services including the preparation of procedures, departmental memoranda, letters, and coordination of executive correspondence and reports, including ministerial correspondence.
Carrying out administrative procedures associated with the Supporting Volunteers business unit, including support to key stakeholder relationships (including managing a key stakeholder database) and priority projects.
Establish and maintain professional networks with internal and external stakeholders by keeping an open and effective line of communication.
Provide effective administrative support in relation to the operations of the business unit such as human resource, financial and operational service support.
Perform other tasks as required.
