About Us

headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Bega work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people.

Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Bega. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT.

About The Position

The Administration Officer is responsible for providing high quality administrative services to support the delivery of the services and activities of the office hub including being the offices first point of contact for consumers over the phone and at reception.

Each hub generally has a number of programs offering a range of services to the local community including mental health counselling, alcohol and other drugs support services and allied health programs. The role works flexibly and collaboratively with other teams, locations and administrative staff to support the delivery of effective and efficient administration services to meet the needs of the hub and GPH organisation.

Based in headspace Bega’s Cooma outpost, this position is part-time (16 hours a week), fixed term until 30 June 2027 with possibility for extension.

We Are Looking For Someone With

Relevant tertiary qualifications in business/office administration (or working towards) and/or experience in an administrative role

Exceptional customer service skills including the ability to be approachable, helpful and respectful

Strong attention to detail, ability to be flexible and open to learning new skills

Excellent organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities in a busy office environment
