$22.00 – $26.50/hr ($45,000 – $55,000/year equivalent) + Benefits Package


The Opportunity & Impact

Serving as the operational hub of our production facility, this essential role manages the end-to-end flow of orders, vendor scheduling, and critical documentation to keep operations running smoothly. Functioning as the vital link between shop operators, outside vendors, and customer contacts, you will directly impact shop floor efficiency and client satisfaction in a steady, supportive environment with no regular weekend work or overtime demands.


Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and schedule daily production workflows to maintain seamless movement across all internal work centers.

  • Coordinate outbound and inbound freight logistics by setting up transport for vendor pickups, deliveries, and outside processing.

  • Prepare purchase orders, bill of lading (BOL) documentation, and specialized compliance certification packages for outgoing shipments.

  • Maintain active follow-up schedules with external vendors to track order statuses and ensure deadline adherence.

  • Calculate daily shipping invoices, enter daily sawing and forging labor hours, and maintain critical tracking spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.

  • Serve as the primary front-office point of contact by answering client phone calls and responding to customer inquiry emails with accurate order details.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience within a manufacturing, metals, tooling, or industrial distribution environment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and familiarity with ERP or AS400 scheduling systems.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail necessary for handling complex certification packages and compliance specs.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional customer service approach.

  • Ability to work independently, manage daily priorities, and reliably maintain high-volume administrative workflows.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen due to operational and compliance requirements.
