Job Summary
The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for performing a range of clerical and administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry: Accurately enter and update data in our systems, maintaining data integrity and confidentiality.
Answering Phones: Manage incoming calls, redirecting them to the appropriate departments or personnel, and providing information as needed.
Retrieving Mail: Collect, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages; prepare outgoing mail and packages.
Putting Together Paperwork Packages: Compile, organize, and prepare paperwork packages for various purposes, ensuring all documents are complete and accurate.
Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain office inventory, including supplies and equipment; ensure adequate stock levels and timely restocking.
Ordering Supplies: Order office supplies and equipment as needed, liaising with vendors to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in an administrative role preferred but not required.
Skills:
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
– Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
