Posting Description
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Anthropology, History, and Science, Technology, and Society, under the supervision of the Associate Director of Administration, performs diverse administrative tasks to support the faculty members in three academic units: Anthropology, History, and Science, Technology, and Society (STS). Will work closely with the Associate Director on tasks related to human resources activities in the three units. Will support day-to-day operations, maintain shared administrative spaces, assist in coordination of office renovations and moves, oversee office supply inventory, and occasionally work with Event and Communications Assistant on event logistics. Will also assist with annual reports and special projects.
Job Requirements
REQUIRED: High School education or equivalent; a minimum of three years of relevant administrative experience; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, Adobe Products, WordPress, Dropbox, and Google Workspace; excellent oral and written communication; ability to manage multiple priorities; excellent organizational skills and attention to details; excellent interpersonal skills and strong commitment to customer service; ability to research and resolve problems and anticipate needs; ability to manifest good judgment; ability to handle confidential matters with discretion; and ability to work effectively with all levels of the administrations, e.g., staff, faculty, and students.
