Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Administrative Assistant role based in Greater Houston. The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative support to office leadership and security operations while maintaining organized records and supporting efficient office operations. Responsibilities include answering and directing phone calls, greeting visitors, handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining accurate records, preparing documents and reports, and assisting with general office administration.

The Administrative Assistant will play a key role in supporting new employee orientation and onboarding activities, helping create a positive and organized experience for new team members. This position will work closely with departments across the organization to ensure information is communicated accurately and administrative processes run smoothly.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, prioritize competing responsibilities, and effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and provide exceptional service to employees, clients, and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, customer service, reception, or office support experience preferred.

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Dependable, professional, and team oriented.
  • Must be willing and able to perform applicant fingerprinting and follow all related procedures and compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience in security, facilities, or service-oriented industries is beneficial but not required.
