Full Job Description
The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks an organized and friendly individual to serve as the Administrative Assistant in Ogdensburg, NY.
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining the agency’s organization and function. Duties include maintaining electronic filing systems, coordinating meetings, coordinating staff travel, preparing agendas, recording meeting minutes, maintaining office supplies, receiving and distributing mail, managing the phone system, and welcoming guests.
Successful candidates must be highly organized, self-driven, and attentive to detail. They must also be comfortable contacting individuals and organizations in person or on the phone.
The minimum requirement is an associate’s degree with experience. The selected candidate must obtain their NYS Notary Public certification within one year of hire.
