Role Description The Administrative Assistant role at Carlin Consulting is a full-time, on-site position based in Charleston, SC. This role provides daily administrative support, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, organizing travel arrangements, and maintaining contact lists. The Administrative Assistant will handle phone calls and emails, greet visitors, and ensure professional front-desk and office communication. Responsibilities also include preparing documents and presentations, maintaining records and files, supporting executive-level leaders with administrative tasks, and assisting with basic HR and project coordination activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong administrative assistance skills, including calendar management, scheduling, and task organization.
- Professional phone etiquette and clear, courteous communication skills in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Executive administrative assistance experience supporting senior leaders with confidential and time-sensitive tasks.
- Solid clerical skills, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and basic office software proficiency (e.g., MS Office or similar).
- High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests, work independently, and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Previous experience in a professional services or consulting environment is beneficial.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience in an administrative role.
