Summary
Continental Mobile Housing is a company that specializes in operating manufactured home communities. We currently have a great career opportunity for an Administrative Assistant at our community in Sylmar, CA. The administrative assistant will report directly to the community manager.
Essential Functions:
· Compile and process resident information in order to prepare monthly rent invoices in Rent Manager.
· Collect and input monthly rent checks in Rent Manager
Description/Responsibilities
A typical day will include any or all, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
· Assist Community Manager with day to day operation of the community.
· Conduct space inspections and enforcing park rules and regulations.
· Respond to incoming phone calls, email and mail requests from residents, other members of the company or vendors.
· Supervise others, take direction from others.
· Operate office machines such as personal computers, photocopiers and fax.
· Review, index, process, file and maintain records.
· Process, monitor and track general park and office operations.
· Coordinate and monitor schedules and projects for other members of the company or vendors.
· Assist residents and vendors with various concerns and questions.
Skills/Requirements/Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· A 2-year college degree or the equivelent and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
· Excellent written, verbal, organizational and computer skills.
· Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
· Must be friendly, professional, and enthusiastic with the ability to communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, co-workers and vendors.
· Have an understanding of basic accounting principles and theory.
· Must demonstrate reliability, professionalism, adaptability.
· Must have good credit and be able to pass a background check.
· Must be able to pass a drug test.
· Must know or be willing to learn about the laws and regulations that govern manufactured home communities.
· Must reside outside of the community.
· If hired, must be able to provide verification of your legal right to work in the United States.
Compensation includes salary, medical, dental insurance, 401k and vacation and sick time.
