Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED with 4 yrs of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 3 (Hourly).
Position Description:
The College of Arts and Sciences is seeking a full-time administrative professional to provide vital support for the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, focusing on the annual academic scheduling process, including data entry and analysis, and performs duties related to commencement, scholarships, and annual course evaluations.
Duties include:
Supports the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management in the academic scheduling process, including annual scheduling and requested departmental schedule changes. Communicates directly with other units, the 21 departments within A&S and the registrar office for scheduling and logistics
Works directly with Institutional Research and the Registrar Office to collect, analyze and interpret data, and create reports that summarize findings and highlight key insights
Assists the Assistant Dean for Enrollment Management, department representatives, and the Office of Academic Planning and Accountability to process changes and keep the catalog up to date
Work with limited super visions in collecting information regarding the December and May Commencement programs, A&S academic awards, and college level scholarships
Monitors service accounts assigned to the Assistant Dean
Serves as backup to the Program Coordinator for Undergraduate Education
Other duties assigned
Preferred qualifications:
Prior work experience in a professional office and/or academic environment
Outstanding skills with Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel, Forms, and Access
Experience with CourseLeaf or other catalog maintenance and development
Familiar with People Soft Campus Solutions
Experience with SPSS, SAS or other data analysis software
Survey software such as Blue, Microsoft Forms
Experience with course scheduling
Excellent customer service
Excellent and written communication skills.
Target Compensation Maximum:
$27.85
Target Compensation Minimum:
$18.56
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
