We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support our Innovation Centre. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the R&D team, allowing our food developers and extruder operators to focus on innovation and technical advancement.
Job Description
Provide full administrative support to the R&D Manager and wider R&D team.
Maintain and organise R&D records, reports, documentation, and files.
Schedule meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
Assist in preparing presentations, technical reports, and project documentation.
Monitor and track R&D project timelines, deliverables, and resource usage.
Manage inventory of R&D supplies, tools, and equipment; coordinate procurement requests.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., production, procurement, finance) to support R&D initiatives.
Ensure all administrative processes in the R&D centre comply with company policies and procedures.
Support travel arrangements, training schedules, and event planning related to R&D activities.
Assist in onboarding new R&D staff, interns, and external collaborators
Keep the R&D centre’s calendar updated and ensure timely communication of deadlines and priorities.
Qualifications
National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
At least 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in a Research and Developmentenvironment.
