Position Overview
We are currently hiring an Administrative Assistant at Mission Memorial Park. You will provide administrative and clerical support to managers, team members, and client families, including answering calls, scheduling, creating and proofreading correspondence, and data entry.
Responsibilities:
Compassion & Empathy: Answer phones, greet families, handle inquiries professionally.
Technology Skills: Use Microsoft Office Suite, company software, email, social media, online portals, webinars, and update the website as needed.
Communication: Maintain strong communication and grammatical skills, proof work.
Financial Monitoring: Monitor accounts, receivables, close accounts, and manage inventory.
Follow-through: Ensure timely completion of funeral service documentation.
Office Maintenance: Keep office area and equipment neat, manage supplies.
Team Participation: Engage in weekly updates, complete administrative and financial tasks.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least three years of office experience, funeral industry experience a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn various office software and equipment.
Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
Effective internal and external communication skills.
