Hondros College of Nursing is hiring an Administrative Coordinator for the Bingham Farms Campus!

This is an entry level role and great opportunity to join us in making a difference in lives of others!

Responsibilities

Serves as a student, faculty, and staff resource and ambassador for the college

Provides professional, courteous, timely front/reception desk customer service to students, faculty, staff, and customers; referring students, faculty, staff, and customers to other college support services as needed

Performs general office administrative duties such as filing, scanning documents, answering phones, responding to emails, scheduling appointments, processing book returns, issuing uniforms, and scheduling, organizing, and operating classrooms and campus-based spaces

Complete student payment processes including taking payments, completing ledger corrections, and making bank deposits

Creates and maintains student academic files; ensuring all compliance requirements are met

Creates and maintains student academic documentation tracking

Executes student cancellation reporting

Partners with the Registrar’s Office to complete student file audits; ensuring that student files remain accurate and compliant

Records and maintains student attendance records

Coordinates and manages student IEP testing

Orders and maintains office supplies and equipment

Participates in new student orientation activities

Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree preferred

At least one year experience in admissions, student services, or campus operations position

Skills

Excellent Knowledge of admissions/registration and student services processes

Strong Customer Service Skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills

Strong knowledge of career development and job search processes

Excellent presentation skills

Flexibility and the ability to manage multiple tasks

Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to maintain security of confidential student records

Ability to work with a diverse student population
