Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced nursing leader to serve as Administrative Director of Women and Children Services. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing departmental operations while ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and service line growth. The position oversees Labor & Delivery, NICU, and Postpartum services, along with advanced designation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily operations across Women & Children service lines
- Ensure patient safety, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures
- Drive performance improvement and quality control initiatives
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Build strong relationships with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Support leadership development for nurse managers
- Participate in business development and service line growth strategies
- Promote staff education, training, and professional development
- Ensure alignment with organizational goals and patient care standards
Requirements
Education:
- BSN required
- Master’s degree in Nursing or related field required
Licensure/Certification:
- Active RN License (TX or Compact)
- BLS Certification required
- National Specialty Certification required
Experience:
- 10+ years of recent nursing experience (Women’s Services, L&D, NICU, PICU, or Pediatrics)
- 5+ years of leadership experience
