Job Title: Administrative Photoshop Assistant

Location: Grants Pass, Oregon (no remote or hybrid option)

Type: Full Time, Hourly

Pay Rate: $20-30/hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.

Jordan Fabrics is a local, family owned and operated quilting and fabric company. What started as a traveling quilt show business based out of a garage, has since become a source of inspiration for millions of YouTube viewers all over the world. For nearly 40 years, the Jordans have been pursuing their passions in the quilting industry and are now looking to add a new member to their continuously growing team!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, organized and dynamic individual to join our team as an Administrative Photoshop Assistant for the Marketing and Sales department. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience while contributing to the success of our organization. The ideal candidate will be versatile, detail oriented and have a very high attention to detail as they assist with product listings, photo editing and customer correspondence.

Essential Functions:

Utilizing Adobe Photoshop to edit and color correct product photos

Laying out pre-cut products neatly for photographing

Creating product listings for company website with high attention to detail

Keeping track of and organizing product, fabric and invoices that arrive to retail location

Counting and updating inventory levels for fabrics that have been cut and shipped

Creating, printing and folding instruction manuals to include in packaged quilting kits prior to shipping

Communicating with other departments about their supply needs and providing products/fabrics as needed

Communicating with product manufacturers to resolve any issues with shipments

Minimum Requirements:

The successful candidate will possess the following combination of experience, knowledge and skills:

Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop with the ability to color correct, edit and format effectively is a must have for this position

1-3+ years of previous experience in an administrative assistant, office manager, customer service or similar support role

Rudimentary graphic design skills with the ability to design basic artwork for marketing emails and website content is nice to have

Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a wide variety of organizational members, customers and vendors

Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

Ability to provide a very high level of customer service and manage email correspondence with correct punctuation and grammar

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel

Work Environment:

Retail shipping environment

Ability to lift 20 lbs. frequently and up to 50 lbs. periodically with assistance.

Stand or sit for long periods

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift
