Job Overview
MBC Staffing is seeking to fill an Administrative Associate Level 2 Position at our customer located in Memphis, Tennessee. This is a 11-month contract position . Job Description:
The main function of an administrative assistant/executive assistant is to provide high-level administrative support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions A typical administrative assistant acts as information and communication managers for an office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Will be processssing invoices for their vendors; can be upwards of 1000 invoices in a week
- Will also be comparing invoices in excel and processing the invoices for approval for PO’s, work orders, etc.
- Will be handling multiple tasks in data sheets so having excelent experience in Excel is a ust – will be comparing invoices with the spreadsheets in excel
- Will be working with high invoicing so will be on computers all day long working between 2 monitors
- Will navigate/upload invoices in the customers 2 systems
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for handling confidential information.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems using sound judgments.
- Must be comfortable and great with computer
- Must be a quick learner
- Must be able to work well with others
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be able to maniuplate data in Excel spreadsheets
- Must have attention to detail
- Must show high level of confidentality
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks
- Having Accounts Payables and financials would be a plus
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required. 2-4 years of experience needed.
- Pay rate is $27 an hour
This is a 11-month assignment; the hours will be Monday through Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; there hand-in-hand training with the current staff and there is also 3-4 training modules on-line that you can utilize; would like to see you be operational on your own in 30 days; the 2 systems our client has that you will be trained on are complex but nothing crazy.
And again these positions are located in Memphis, Tennessee; will need to submit resumes ASAP; this is a 11 month assignment;; must have great skill set, attendance, and attitude; willing to learn and come to work and demonstrate exceptional team behavior; pay rate is $27.00/hr.
