Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for an Administrator (Entry Level) with a multinational science and technology company in Hauppauge, NY. This is a 3-month contract with a potential for extension.
Pay: $21.00 – $23.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 to 5
Description:
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Proficient with Microsoft applications and various software packages including but not limited to Excel and Outlook
- Excellent problem solving and analytic skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Communicates in a timely, proactive manner
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Must be organized, self-motivated, detail oriented, attentive to deadlines and a team player
- Ability to prepare pick lists and shipping documents daily
- Ability to precisely follow instructions
- Aptitude for learning new programs and processes
- Knowledge of Salesforce software and administrative experience is a plus Job Responsibilities:
- The associate will have responsibilities for a specific departmental process/system which entails following standard work guidelines while performing specific job-related tasks
- The associate will follow company policy and procedures to ensure quality metrics are met, comply with specific deadlines, and follow through with all assignments
- Ability to communicate clearly with the logistics companies in order to schedule weekly pickups for outbound shipments
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- 1-3+ years of administrative, transactional, or operations support experience in a fast-paced environment, with strong attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) with ability to accurately manage data, reporting, and day-to-day administrative tasks
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining a proactive, professional approach
- Experience following standard operating procedures and supporting logistics or shipping-related tasks (e.g., preparing pick lists, shipping documents, and coordinating outbound shipments); Salesforce experience is a plus
