Job Overview
A Residential Service Agency Administrator is responsible for the overall management and operation of a residential facility, ensuring the well-being of residents and staff, and adhering to regulatory standards. They oversee admissions, discharges, care plans, finances, staff training, and quality control. Specific duties include hiring staff, supervising staff, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations etc.
Key Responsibilities of a Residential Service Agency Administrator:
Resident Care and Safety:
Overseeing the provision of care, ensuring resident safety, and addressing resident needs.
Staff Supervision:
Hiring, training, and supervising staff to ensure they meet performance standards and provide quality care.
Financial Management:
Managing budgets, financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Compliance and Regulation:
Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to residential care.
Admissions and Discharges:
Managing the process of admitting and discharging residents, including paperwork and communication with families.
Quality Assurance:
Monitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided and implementing improvements as needed.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicating with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of resident care, staff activities, and financial transactions.
