1. Position Summary

The Admissions & Enrolment Coordinator is responsible for managing the complete student admissions journey, from initial enquiry and counselling through application, admission, enrolment and onboarding.

The position plays an important role in achieving PIE’s student recruitment and enrolment objectives while ensuring that prospective students and their families receive accurate information, professional guidance and timely follow-up throughout the admissions process.

The successful candidate should be proactive, highly organised, service-oriented and comfortable working with enrolment targets and prospective student conversion.

2. Key Responsibilities

Student Enquiries & Counselling

  • Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries received by phone, email, social media, website, walk-ins and recruitment activities.
  • Provide prospective students and parents with accurate information regarding programmes, admission requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, internships and enrolment procedures.
  • Conduct individual counselling sessions with prospective students and families.
  • Identify students’ educational and career objectives and recommend appropriate programmes.
  • Maintain regular and structured follow-up with prospective students until an enrolment decision is reached.

Admissions & Enrolment

  • Manage applications from initial submission through acceptance and confirmed enrolment.
  • Review application documents and ensure that admission requirements are completed.
  • Coordinate entrance assessments, interviews or English-language evaluations where applicable.
  • Prepare admission and enrolment documentation.
  • Follow up on outstanding documents, tuition payments and administrative requirements.
  • Coordinate with Academic, Finance and Student Services teams to ensure smooth student onboarding.
  • Maintain complete, accurate and confidential student admission records.

Student Recruitment & Conversion

  • Actively contribute to the achievement of student recruitment and enrolment targets.
  • Manage prospective student leads and monitor their progress through the admissions pipeline.
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with leads and identify opportunities to improve conversion from enquiry to application and enrolment.
  • Re-engage prospective students who have previously expressed interest but have not completed their application.
  • Support recruitment campaigns, school visits, education fairs, open houses, campus tours and information sessions.
  • Represent PIE professionally during external recruitment and promotional activities.

Admissions Database & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the admissions database or CRM system.
  • Track enquiries, applications, admissions, enrolments and conversion rates.
  • Prepare regular admissions and enrolment reports for management.
  • Monitor recruitment performance against agreed targets.
  • Provide feedback on common student enquiries, market trends, programme demand and reasons for lost enrolments.
  • Ensure proper management and confidentiality of prospective and enrolled student information.

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with Marketing to ensure that prospective student enquiries generated through campaigns are followed up effectively.
  • Coordinate with Academic teams regarding programme schedules, admission requirements and student readiness.
  • Coordinate with Finance regarding tuition fees, payment schedules and enrolment confirmation.
  • Maintain professional relationships with schools, education partners and other recruitment channels where required.
  • Ensure that information communicated to prospective students is accurate, consistent and aligned with PIE policies.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Higher Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Education, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in student admissions, enrolment, student recruitment or a closely related position.
  • Previous experience within a university, college, vocational training institution, international school or education organisation is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience managing prospective students from enquiry through confirmed enrolment.
  • Experience working with enrolment or recruitment targets is highly desirable.
  • Experience using CRM, student information systems, databases or similar digital platforms.

  • Good command of written and spoken Khmer and English; additional languages are an advantage.

  • Number of pending applications successfully converted.
  • Effectiveness of follow-up and student engagement.
  • Quality of prospective student and parent experience.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of admissions reports.
