Job Title: Admissions Assistant
Reports To: Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions or Campus President
FLSA: Non-Exempt, Full time (40 hours)
JOB SUMMARY
The Admissions Assistant is responsible for assisting the Admissions Department at Institute of Technology, reporting directly to the Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions, or Campus President and is a member of the Admissions team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Under direct supervision of the Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions, or Campus President the Admissions Assistant is expected to:
Place daily phone calls and/or send electronic communications to potential and enrolled students.
Assist with managing the appointment calendar for the Admissions department.
Assist with the application process; verifying documents, auditing for initials/signatures, and keeping sensitive information secure.
Assist with informational interviews and applications as needed.
Audit and ensure all student files are complete.
Provide copies of documents to other departments as necessary (i.e. Financial id and Career Services).
Track enrolled students; ensuring all steps required for a student to start are completed.
Process background checks; providing and reviewing results with the Director of Admissions or Assistant Director of Admissions.
Request, track and process all Proof of Graduation (POG) requests for enrolled students.
Maintain and support working relationships with outside agencies.
Maintain and update Admissions Start List.
Assist with New Student Orientation and Start Day.
Assist with sending out applicable correspondence (i.e. acceptance letters, cancellation notices, etc.).
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions, Assistant Director of Admissions and Campus President.
QUALIFICATIONS
Possess a High School Diploma, an associate degree is preferred. Have a minimum of 1-year customer service experience or administrative support, recruiting or sales experience; or any relevant combination of education and experience as determined by the Campus President.
