Role Overview
We are seeking a dependable, and detailed-oriented Advanced Clinical Administrative Assistant to join our team. This hybrid position spans clinical support and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient experiences from check-in through follow-up care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate prescription refills, lab orders, and specialist referrals
- Process prior authorization for medications and procedures
- Coordinate new and ongoing care with specialists
- Medical records reconciliation/abstraction
- Liaise between patients and providers
- Work closely with members of both administrative and clinical departments

- Greet patients warmly, manage the front desk, and handle check-in/check-out
- Answer incoming calls, address patient inquiries/messages, schedule appointments
- Verify insurance eligibility, collect copays, update demographic data, and address patient billing inquiries
- Process incoming/outgoing faxes, medical records requests, and patient portal messages
- Assist with general office organization, administrative filing, and maintaining patient flow
Qualifications & Skills
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems and general office software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate patient approach
- Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and transition seamlessly between clinical and administrative duties
Preferred
- Experience with billing, insurance pre-authorizations, or referral management
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient or primary care clinical setting

Pay: $21.00 – $26.00 per hour
