We're looking for an experienced Regional Payroll & Employment Specialist to become the technical payroll expert for Asia-Pacific. You'll work across multiple countries, helping some of the world's fastest-growing companies employ and pay talent compliantly across the region.

What you'll own
You'll become the payroll expert for our APAC business, supporting some of the world's fastest-growing companies with employees across multiple countries.
You'll be responsible for:
- Owning end-to-end payroll operations across APAC.
- Manage payroll across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and additional APAC jurisdictions.
- Reviewing payroll calculations and ensuring 100% accuracy.
- Managing payroll calendars and statutory deadlines.
- Supporting employment compliance across the region.
- Working closely with Finance to reconcile payroll data.
- Identifying payroll risks before they become client issues.
- Building payroll SOPs and continuously improving processes.
- Supporting new country launches and payroll readiness.
- Becoming the internal payroll expert for our commercial and operations teams.

Who you are
You probably have experience in:
- Global Payroll
- Employer of Record (EOR)
- Global Employment
- HR Technology
- Payroll Operations
Ideal experience
- Experience managing payroll across multiple APAC countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong)
- Experience with EOR or global payroll providers.
- Comfortable working with payroll software, HRIS platforms and operational systems.
- Strong understanding of payroll compliance and statutory obligations.
- Experience working directly with clients and managing payroll-related queries professionally.
- Highly analytical with exceptional attention to detail.
- Curious about AI, automation and workflow optimisation.
Bonus points
- Experience working at a similar global employment provider.
- Experience using AI tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Experience with API integrations, HRIS or payroll automation.
- Exposure to stablecoins, crypto payroll or modern cross-border payment solutions.
