Role Description The Application Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Yangon, responsible for supporting and maintaining business applications used across Yoma F&B. In this role, the specialist will handle day-to-day application support requests, diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve problems efficiently. The role includes configuring and updating applications, monitoring system performance, and ensuring that software solutions meet operational needs and service standards. The Application Specialist will document procedures, provide user training and guidance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and user experience.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills to interpret data, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Candidates should possess solid Application Support experience, including handling incidents, managing user requests, and ensuring application stability.
  • Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose issues, perform corrective actions, and work with IT teams or vendors when needed.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide clear user guidance.
  • Relevant experience with business or retail/F&B systems, such as POS, ERP, or inventory management applications, is beneficial.
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work on-site in Yangon, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a customer-oriented approach to support.
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts, system documentation, and change management processes is an advantage.

Candidate can perform ad-hoc work assign by reporting manager.
