ASEAN Venture, Regional Associate

ASEAN Venture, an initiative of Future Literacy Group, is building an on-the-ground presence across Southeast Asia, connecting European technology and industrial capabilities with companies, investors and institutional stakeholders in the region.

We are looking for a smart, curious and highly organised person based in Kuala Lumpur to support our regional deployment.

You will work closely with the founder across meetings, research, opportunity development and follow-up with companies, investors and institutional stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Support meetings and relationship-building with regional stakeholders
  • Research companies, technologies, markets and investment opportunities
  • Prepare briefs, company profiles and meeting materials
  • Support follow-up and coordination after meetings
  • Help identify relevant opportunities across Malaysia and Southeast Asia
  • Support European companies engaging with the region

What we are looking for

  • Based in Kuala Lumpur
  • Excellent English, written and spoken
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Curious about technology, business and Southeast Asia
  • Comfortable engaging with senior professionals
  • Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
  • Previous experience in startups, consulting, business development, investment, technology or international business is a plus

This is a hands-on role. You will work closely with the founder and be exposed to companies, investors, governments and other senior stakeholders across Southeast Asia.

We are particularly interested in someone who wants to understand how technology, capital and international business come together in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Start: September 2026
