Assistant Commercial Product Manager Jobs in Greater Kuala Lumpur at China Mobile International Limited

Title: Assistant Commercial Product Manager

Company: China Mobile International Limited

Location: Greater Kuala Lumpur

About this role

We build an AI cloud platform, covering GPU compute, LLM training and inference, token services, and private cloud delivery. This role turns those technical capabilities into a business people buy: who we sell to, how we package it, what we price it at, which channels we go through, and how customers keep expanding once they are on the platform. You define all of that, and you own the revenue and margin that comes out of it.

What you will own

  • Revenue and margin: Own revenue targets for GPU compute, model services, and the MaaS platform, along with gross margin and compute utilization.
  • Pricing and packaging: Design the price structure and commercial formats (pay-as-you-go, resource packs, subscriptions, private cloud projects, and others), and set list prices, discount bands, and sales policy against cost structure and competitor price benchmarks.
  • Productization: Turn compute specs, model capabilities, and technical services into standard SKUs, quote sheets, and delivery definitions, so sales and channel partners can close deals on their own.
  • Go-to-market: Segment target customers (enterprises, government, universities and research institutes, developers) and match each segment with the right product format, price tier, and acquisition path.
  • Lifecycle operations: Build the funnel from lead generation → trial activation → first API call → PoC conversion → renewal and upsell, and define the conversion metric and intervention at every step.
  • Data-driven operations: Track compute utilization, token volume, ARPU, conversion rates, gross margin, and unit service cost; find where the funnel leaks and drive the fix.
  • Sales enablement: Produce product handbooks, quote templates, competitive comparisons, customer cases, and sales training that raise win rates for sales and partners.
  • Channel and ecosystem: Recruit cloud providers, model vendors, ISVs, system integrators, universities, and industry solution providers, and design onboarding, training, incentive, and co-marketing programs for joint acquisition and joint solutions.
  • Market intelligence: Track price movements, competitor moves, and shifting customer needs in the compute and model market, and feed conclusions back into product planning and price adjustments.

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, 3+ years of commercial operations experience in cloud, AI, LLM, or enterprise software products, with real depth in at least two of pricing, packaging, sales operations, and channel operations.
  • Familiar with the business models behind GPU compute, cloud, LLM APIs, and MaaS products, and clear on where pay-as-you-go, resource packs, subscriptions, and project-based deals each fit.
  • Able to read compute specs, model capabilities, invocation modes, and deployment options, break the cost structure out of them, and work out the margin on a deal.
  • Strong analytical skills, able to use AI tools to locate problems in operating metrics and drive growth.
  • Have taken a product line end to end: positioning, pricing and launch, demand generation, commercial conversion, and ongoing operations.
  • Strong customer communication, negotiation, resource coordination, and cross-team skills, able to keep sales, product, delivery, and finance aligned on the same numbers.
  • Professional working proficiency in both Chinese and English.
