Small but expanding woman owned construction company requires an assistant construction manager/admin assistant. The ideal candidate would be someone looking for an entry level construction/project management position.

Duties include: visiting potential customers to gather information for estimating purposes, pricing and ordering construction materials, basic estimating, site supervision, communicating with Spanish speaking workers, getting prices from sub-contractors. general clerical work and personal tasks for the owner,

We are looking for an individual with the following experience and skills:

Experience in construction dealing with vendors and sub-contractors preferred;

Able to read basic blueprints, do Take-Offs and calculate quantities.

Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Self-motivated, great organizational skills, detail-oriented, accurate, and able to multi-task.

Able to meet deadlines and manage schedule.

Adaptable to changing priorities, deadlines, and business needs.

Must possess excellent customer service skills, strong people skills, and motivational capability.

Clear written and verbal communications.

Enjoy being part of small team and able to work alone.

Willing to take on all kinds of tasks.

Bilingual (Spanish/English).

Immediate start.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday
