Job Description:
This position is responsible for accurately processing vehicle paperwork and preparing legal transfer documents. Processing all paperwork to be submitted to the Department of Motor Vehicles and financing institutions, in a timely manner. This role will assist our business office in various accounting tasks and administration duties.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Break down deals after delivery, submit all financial contracts for vehicle purchases
Prepare all data pertaining to trade-in vehicles
Process trade-in payoffs
Complete DMV paperwork and process customer registrations
Process Dealer Trades and Wholesale transactions
Purchase all vehicles into inventory and assign stock numbers
Reconcile vehicle inventory and schedules
Submit extended warranty transactions monthly
Prepare daily deposit for all departments
Receipt of various payments, including reconciling all accounts receivable journals
Prepare and mail customer accounts receivable statements
Submit warranty cancellations
Submit warranty claims for Service department
Additional duties will be assigned upon completion of training
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required
At least one year dealership experience preferred
Notary public preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must possess basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Knowledge of AutoMate DMS software is preferred, but will be training if necessary
Must possess a professional personal appearance and demeanor
Will be required to use office machinery such as computer, printer, telephone, fax machine, etc.
Must be detail oriented, organized, and a problem solver
