Role Description The Official Plumber (TX) at Anytime Fitness is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Orlando, responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable operation of plumbing systems across the facility. This role includes installing, inspecting, and maintaining water supply and drainage systems, repairing pipes, fixtures, and valves, and responding promptly to plumbing emergencies or service requests. The plumber will perform routine preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and implement repairs that minimize downtime and support a clean, functional environment for members and staff. The position also involves coordinating with management and contractors, adhering to safety and building codes, maintaining accurate records of work performed, and providing approachable, professional service to internal stakeholders and gym members.
Qualifications
- Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant repairs.
- Experience working with pipes and related fixtures, including cutting, fitting, and joining various materials.
- Demonstrated ability in maintenance and repair of facility systems, with a focus on preventative maintenance.
- Effective customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with staff and members.
- Valid plumbing license or certification in Texas, with familiarity in commercial or fitness facility environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Greater Orlando, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety standards, and best practices in plumbing and facility maintenance.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
