We are currently in the process of hiring the above vacancy, for a renowned investment company established in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Job Title: Associate – Investments

Reporting To: Head of Investments

Department: Investments Division

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Role Overview:

The Associate – Investments will play a key role in evaluating new investment opportunities and managing the existing portfolio. This role encompasses all stages of the deal cycle, with a strong emphasis on financial modeling, analysis, due diligence, and research. Responsibilities also include preparing investment proposals, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and supporting decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, preparing proposals for sponsor approval.

Develop advanced financial models to analyze performance under different scenarios.

Manage financial, legal, and commercial due diligence processes.

Participate in transaction structuring and coordinate with external advisors (e.g., legal and financial consultants).

Identify and shortlist potential investment opportunities, targets, and investors.

Oversee due diligence, research, and analysis for live transactions.

Provide reports and insights to senior management and engage with portfolio companies.

Monitor industry trends and attend relevant events, conferences, and trade shows.

Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5 years in corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity, with hands-on experience in financial modeling and analysis.

Technical Skills: Expertise in financial modeling (Excel, VBA), market research, and investment analysis.

Transaction Exposure: Previous involvement in all aspects of the deal cycle, including structuring, due diligence, and financial performance assessments.

Leadership: Ability to manage junior team members and review investment materials, presentations, and pitchbooks.

Communication & Organization: Strong networking, presentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.

Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; Arabic or French is a plus.
