Role Description The Bellman and Driver is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. This role is responsible for greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with luggage, escorting guests to rooms, and providing clear information about hotel facilities and services. The Bellman and Driver also supports transportation needs, including safely driving guests to and from designated locations in accordance with hotel standards and local regulations. Daily tasks include coordinating with the front office team, handling basic receptionist duties such as directing guests and answering inquiries, and maintaining a tidy lobby and entrance area. The role requires maintaining high levels of customer service, following safety procedures, and participating in training to stay current with hotel policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively and respectfully with guests and colleagues.
- Experience with Receptionist Duties, including greeting guests, providing information, and coordinating with front office operations.
- Ability to handle Luggage safely and efficiently, including assisting guests with loading, unloading, and transporting bags.
- Willingness to participate in Training to learn hotel procedures, safety standards, and service protocols.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and familiarity with the Greater Kuala Lumpur area.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
- Professional appearance, reliability, and ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate loads for extended periods.
- Prior experience in hospitality, front office, or guest services is an advantage but not strictly required.
