Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Biology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in bioinformatics or genomic data analysis.
- Experience with genomic sequencing analysis (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq, or 16S Sequencing).
- Proficient in Python, Bash/Shell, and bioinformatics analysis pipelines.
- Strong understanding of biostatistics, genomic databases, and data management.
- Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., ISO) and data security practices is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional coordination in bioinformatics data analysis to support commercial genomic services.
- Lead the development, quality control, maintenance, and documentation of genomic data analysis pipelines.
- Oversee and ensure the security of genomic data during storage (databases) and transmission across internal systems and external user interactions.
- Develop training materials and serve as the lead facilitator for bioinformatics training programs supporting commercial services.
- Prepare, review, and maintain operational documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and other bioinformatics operational documentation.
- Manage administrative activities related to bioinformatics technologies, including payment requests, invoice reviews, and other operational support.
- Develop cost estimates for bioinformatics services and support periodic pricing reviews in collaboration with the Head of Laboratory.
