  • Job Responsibilities

    1. Assist in managing the bakery product category to achieve sales, profitability, and inventory targets.
    2. Monitor sales, stock levels, and product performance, and support demand forecasting and replenishment planning.
    3. Prepare sales, inventory, and category performance reports to support business decisions.
    4. Coordinate with suppliers on product sourcing, pricing, purchase orders, deliveries, and stock availability.
    5. Support new product development and launches by working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
    6. Work with Production and Quality Assurance to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards.
    7. Maintain accurate product information, specifications, SOPs, work instructions, and other category documentation.
    8. Support product reviews and recommend improvements in product quality, pricing, packaging, cost efficiency, and overall category performance.
    9. Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior from time to time.

    Job Requirements

    1. Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, Hospitality Management, Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
    2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Internship experience in bakery, food production, retail, or FMCG will be an added advantage.
    3. Passionate about bakery products, food trends, and retail merchandising.
    4. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
    5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Knowledge of ERP or merchandising systems is an added advantage.
    7. Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    8. Proactive, eager to learn, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
    9. Willing to travel occasionally for supplier visits, market surveys, store visits, or product evaluations when required.
