What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Pre-register and schedule patient appointments with appropriate providers
Direct calls to the correct area for services not provided in Centralized Scheduling
Receive requests for information and ensure timely distribution of materials
Schedule, admit, and pre-authorize insurance for all patients in the assigned area
Collaborate with team members to enhance patient scheduling efficiency
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Two or more years of experience in a direct customer-facing sales or service setting
Ability to handle critical situations calmly and effectively
Strong communication skills to interact with patients and providers
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Associate’s Degree or completion of a medical terminology program
Two or more years of experience in a medical setting
Familiarity with healthcare systems and processes
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Bilingual skills to assist diverse patient populations
