The Town of Clinton is seeking a regular part-time (32 hours per week) Code Enforcement Officer/Facilities Director. Other job duties/titles include Licensed Plumbing Inspector, Health Officer, and E911 Addressing Officer. Applicants with a construction/contractor/facilities background are highly encouraged to apply; willing to train for the code enforcement part of the job.
This is an administrative position responsible for the inspection and issuance of permits for land use, plumbing, and building permits. This position also oversees all maintenance for town buildings and facilities.
Applicants certified as Code Enforcement Officers with proven customer service skills and experience with MUBEC are preferred. The town will consider other applicants, and the chosen candidate will have 12 months to complete certification requirements.
