YPO (Young Presidents' Organization) is a global leadership community of chief executives, founded in 1950, dedicated to helping its members become better leaders through lifelong learning and peer exchange. The YPO MENA Gulf Regional Integrated Chapter is an officially recognized chapter serving business leaders and their families across the Middle East and North Africa.

The Chapter operates under a strict culture of privacy and trust — 'Nothing, Nobody, Never' — and every aspect of this role is performed in service of that culture and its members.

THE ROLE:

The Chapter Manager is the operational backbone of the Chapter. Working closely with the Chapter Chair and the volunteer Board of Officers, you will provide the administrative, coordination, and managerial support that keeps the Chapter running smoothly and in full alignment with YPO's standards. This is a deliverables-driven, member-facing role in a community of chief executives — it demands integrity, discretion, organization, and a high degree of polish

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Experience & Background

▸  Proven administrative, executive-support, or association/chapter-management experience, ideally in a member-based or events-driven environment.

▸ Comfort working directly with senior executives and high-net-worth individuals, with absolute discretion.

▸Demonstrated event and project coordination skills: planning, logistics, vendor management, and on-site delivery.

Core Competencies:

▸  Exceptional organization, multi-tasking ability, and follow-through across concurrent workstreams.

▸  Outstanding written and spoken English; able to draft polished newsletters, briefs, and communications.

▸  Sound judgment, the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

▸  Self-starter who works independently, manages their own schedule, and delivers results with minimal supervision.

Technical Skills:

 Proficiency with Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, Chat GPT, Zoom / Teams, and CRM or event-registration tools.

 Comfort with app/website CMS and membership databases; design skills (Canva or similar) are an advantage.

Eligibility:

▸ Valid legal status to work as an independent contractor in the UAE (Emirates ID / freelance permit).

▸  Travel visas for the USA, UK, Canada, and Schengen Area are required for YPO events. Candidates who do not currently hold these visas will be supported in obtaining them; the Chapter provides all necessary supporting letters and documentation.

▸  Provides own primary equipment; chapter-approved software covered with prior approval.

TRAVEL & EXPENSES:

Occasional travel is required for YPO events, workshops, trainings, and regional or global conferences. All travel must be pre-authorized in writing by the Chapter Chair.
