Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
– Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
– Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records system
– Assist with medical billing and insurance verification
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
– Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
– Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
– Assist chiropractor with patient examinations and treatments as directed
Experience:
– Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
– Familiarity with medical scheduling systems and electronic medical records (EMR)
– Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
– Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
– Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite
