• Staffing Office
• Discharge Planners
Reporting to the Staffing Services Supervisor, as the Staffing Clerk you will be responsible for the short call desk activities which include receiving, documenting all absence from work calls and requests for workload increases.
The Staffing Clerk places calls and hires replacement staff according to union contracts. The Staffing Clerk is responsible for utilizing specific protocols to ensure accurate data entry in the ESP system. The Staffing Clerk works as part of a team with ongoingcommunicationandcollaborationwith staff, managers and staffing office colleagues.
Qualifications
As a qualified candidate you will have the following job requirements:
• Post-Secondary Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with a computerized scheduling program, (ESP preferred).
• Previous experience in Staffing/Scheduling an asset
• Previous Experience in a Hospital Setting an asset
• Understanding of Collective Agreements and scheduling rules in a hospital environment, preferred
• Excellent Computer skills
