I’m a Discovery Financial Advisor building a serious, client-focused practice, and I’m looking for the right person to work alongside me in-office and help drive operations, client experience, and growth.
This is not just an admin role. You’ll be involved in how the business actually runs, from working with clients, managing the pipeline, assisting with lead generation, and supporting the overall growth of the practice.
You’ll also get exposure to the full Discovery ecosystem including life cover, investments, medical aid, Discovery Bank, and short-term insurance and how these solutions are structured together to build complete financial plans for clients.
This is an in-office role based at:
Summit Place Office Park
221 Garsfontein Road
Menlyn, Pretoria
- Laptop will be provided
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking and managing client meetings via Outlook
- Following up with leads and clients (calls, WhatsApp, reminders)
- Preparing application/admin work after meetings
- Supporting existing clients with basic servicing requests
- Managing and tracking referrals
- Ensuring a smooth and professional client experience
- Assisting with social media (posting, engagement, content support)
In-Person Activations & Lead Generation:
- Assisting with and running lead generation activations (e.g. Bosch service centre and partner locations)
- Engaging with potential clients face-to-face
- Booking meetings on the spot
- Capturing and organising lead information accurately
What I’m looking for:
- Strong communication skills (in person, phone, WhatsApp)
- Confident speaking to people you don’t know
- Organised, proactive, and reliable
- Social media savvy and content filming and creation
- Willing to learn and operate in a structured environment
- Comfortable working both in-office and occasionally on-site
Working hours:
Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 14:00
Salary:
R5000 (entry-level starting position, with growth potential)
