POSITION SUMMARY The Scheduler for the Outpatient Clinics ensures the cost-effective and efficient flow of communications while assisting patients with appointment scheduling. Provides optimal customer service and accurate and efficient patient registration. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education
/Licensure/Certification:
High school diploma or GED required; more advanced coursework or training is highly desirable. Knowledge Three years of experience in automated scheduling in a physician office preferred; multi-provider medical office experience is highly desired. Skills Superior oral
communication skills
, with knowledge of medical terminology and spelling accuracy required. Excellent customer service orientation and proven experience in personnel development and
teamwork
required.
