About the Role
This role plays a vital part in supporting our healthcare team by providing safe, therapeutic, and efficient care and services to patients. As aPatient Services Coordinator
, you will be responsible for assisting in direct patient care, performing treatments, administering medications, and instructing patients and their families in appropriate care, as directed by their provider.
You will also be responsible for obtaining and documenting reason for visit, patient vital signs, collecting specimens, and ensuring all patient care areas are adequately stocked with unexpired medical supplies. Additionally, you will arrange for patients’ ordered diagnostic and therapeutic services, track, review, and monitor follow-up of diagnostic test results, and relay information from the provider to the patient regarding results and follow-up instructions.
The ideal candidate will havestrongcommunicationskills, including proficiency in navigating and entering information into an electronic health record. You will also need to be self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently.
