Collection Specialist – Medical Billing Process Jobs in Delhi, India at SourceIN Solutions
Follow up with insurance companies on unpaid or underpaid claims through phone calls and online portals. Review and analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and denials to determine appropriate next steps. Take necessary action to resolve claim issues including resubmissions, appeals, and corrections. Accurately document all actions taken and update the billing system in real-time. Work to minimize aging A/R and ensure claims are resolved within timely filing limits.
Coordinate with coding, charge entry, and payment posting teams as needed. Meet or exceed daily productivity and quality metrics. Assist in resolving escalated or complex claim denials and unpaid accounts. Conduct regular quality audits, provide feedback, and ensure team adherence to SOPs. Coordinate with QA, training, and operations teams to ensure
process efficiency
. Ensure timely and accurate follow-up with insurance companies and patients (if applicable).
Prepare daily/weekly reports on collections performance and share insights with management. Stay updated on payer guidelines, billing regulations, and industry trends. Participate in hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members. KPIs (A/R aging, denial rate, resolution rate, etc.) and ensure targets are met.
